Muhammad Sarwar, a British citizen of Pakistani origin, who made history by making a long journey from Britain to Pakistan, took 9 days to reach Pakistan, during which he passed through London, France, Belgium, Hungary, Austria, Turkey and Iran. He chose his 6-year-old Mercedes for this long journey.
According to the report of BBC Urdu, Muhammad Sarwar started
this journey from Glasgow, Scotland, in which his nephews were also with him.
Muhammad Sarwar reached Hungary from France through 5 countries in the first 2
days of his journey, after which he expected to reach Pakistan within another
four days. According to Mohammad Sarwar, his real journey started in the second
part where he faced many difficulties. They were also searched at the border of
Bulgaria, after which the difficult phase of the journey to Turkey came. He
said that the journey to Turkey is 20 hours but it took him 3 days to complete
the journey due to which he had to pass through the northern regions where the
weather was quite cold.
Mohammad Sarwar said that he got rid of the fatigue of this
long trip to Turkey by eating Turkish kebabs and walking around Istanbul. In
the third part of the journey, he passed through Iran, where he spent the night
at the Pakistan-Iran border. While entering Iran, they also had to get car
insurance because European insurance is meaningless in Iran.
According to Muhammad Sarwar, the final step was to enter
Pakistan from Taftan where he was given an extraordinary protocol. Narrating an
incident, he said that when he needed to fill his car with petrol in the city
of Zahedan in Iran, he went to a local petrol pump where he was given petrol
for free.
He further said that during this long journey, his car used
900 rupees per liter of petrol and spent up to 3 lakh rupees on petrol alone.
During this time, he found the most expensive petrol in England and the
cheapest petrol in Iran.
